Wednesday was Cole's first day of school. This is his last year for pre-school. He is attending Brush Valley Church Pre-School again this year. He is very excited for the new year as his teacher Carla told him that she got new books for him this year. Cole loves to learn about the Bible and he is getting prepared for kindergarten next year.

UMMMM! Bella, Alex, Zeke, Izzie and Sampson (counter clockwise from right) share their first real meal. Cole and I prepared this delicious plate of puppy mush for the beloved pups Monday morning after the girls were off to school. They loved it! After they ate their fill (and walked through it) they were ready to help each other clean up then snuggled together for a long rest with full puppy bellies and happy puppy dreams!

Monday was the first day of school for Paige and Hannah. It is so hard to believe that Summer is over! Paige started 5th grade and has a brand new teacher to West Hills this year, Miss Cogley. There are seven 5th grade classes this year, so Paige has class with a lot of new friends. She still gets to see her old friends at lunch and recess. Hannah is in second grade and her teacher is Mrs. Coven. I have already received my first call from the school nurse today about Hannah. Of course all was fine - just a minor earache. (I do believe that Hannah missed her routine visits to the nurse over the summer and couldn't wait any longer to get that first trip under her belt :) At least she made it to day TWO! I am pretty sure that she has already been provided with a frequent flyer pass! We shall see how the rest of the week goes. . . . . .
